iPhone X: Transfer from Samsung Note 4 Using Move to iOS App



A. IPHONE

1. For new out of box iPhone, follow steps 1 - 10 on "iPhone X: First Time Setup". Than proceed to step #3.

1.1 For already setup iPhone, Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings > Erase Now > Erase iPhone > Erase iPhone > Enter Apple ID password > Erase

2. Follow steps 3 - 10 on "iPhone X: First Time Setup"

3. On Apps & Data > Move Data from Android > Continue > Copy 6 digit code

B. ANDROID

4. Settings > Wi-Fi > Uncheck Smart network switch

5. Settings > Turn ON "Flight mode"

6. Play Store > Search "Move to iOS" > INSTALL > ACCEPT > OPEN

7. Continue > Agree > Next > Enter Code (Step #3)

8. Next > Transferring... (Be patient as the transfer will take a while) > Done

C. IPHONE

9. Continue Setting Up iPhone > On Apple ID > Forgot password or don't have an Apple ID? > Set Up Later in Settings > Don't Use

10. Terms and Conditions > Agree

11. Express Settings > Customise Settings

12. Keep Your iPhone Up to Date > Continue

13. iMessage & FaceTime > Not Now

14. Location Services > Disable Location Services > OK

15. Siri > Set Up Later in Settings

16. Screen Time > Continue

17. iPhone Analytics > Don't Share

18. True Tone Display > Continue

19. Go Home > Continue

20. Switch Between Recent Apps > Continue

1. Insert nano SIM card into iPhone X

2. Power on and Plug in iPhone X using Lightning to USB Cable

3. On Hello > slide up to open

4. English > Malaysia

5. On Quick Start > Set Up Manually

6. Keyboards: English (UK) > Next

7. Choose a Wi-Fi Network > Click on the Network > Enter Password > Join > Next

8. Data & Privacy > Continue

9. Face ID > Set Up Later in Settings

10. Create a Passcode > Enter 6 digit passcode twice

11. On Apps & Data > Set Up as New iPhone

12. On Apple ID > Don't have an Apple ID or forgot it? > Set Up Later in Settings > Don't Use

Windows 10: Replace SATA Disk with SSD - Disk Clone Using EaseUS Todo Backup Free


REMARK: For EaseUS Todo Backup Free installation, kindly refer to 'Windows 10: Replace SATA Disk with SSD - Install EaseUS Todo Backup Free'

MATERIALS'
1. Kingston A400 SA400S37/120G
2. SATA to USB Connector

STEPS'
1. Connect the new SSD disk into laptop with SATA to USB connector

2. Run 'EaseUS Todo Backup Free 11.0'

3. On 'User Account Control' > Yes

4. Click on 'Clone' on left hand panel

5. On 'Source:' Select 'Hard disk 0 (xxx GB, Basic, MBR) > Next

6. On 'Source: Disk 0 *:C:*: ---> Target:', Select 'Hard disk 1 (XXX GB, Basic, GPT, USB)' > Next

7. Proceed > Finish


8. Shutdown the laptop > Remove battery > Remove SATA disk from disk slot > Slot in new SSD disk > Reboot the laptop.

Windows 10: Replace SATA Disk with SSD - Install EaseUS Todo Backup Free

1. Download EaseUS Todo Backup Free 11.0

2. Run 'tb_free.exe'

3. On 'User Account Control' > Yes

4. Select Setup Language: English > OK 

5. Next > Accept > Next >

6. On 'Select Additional Tasks', UNCHECK both > Next > Next > Finish

7. On 'Activate now' > Later

Sonoff S20: Set Loop timer

1. Open EWeLink apps

2. Click on Sonoff device name; i.e: Switch1

3. Click on 'ON' if the device is in 'OFF' state

4. Loop timer:
   Restart cycle: 0 Hour 10 min, start in StatusOnce: OFF
   After: 0 Hour 10 min, change status to: ON
   Start time: 2018 1 1 08 00
   OK

1. Login to alexa.amazon.com

2. Smart Home > Smart Home Skills (Not Enabled) > Enable Skills:
   Search: eWeLink
   Select eWeLink Smart Home Fan > ENABLE

3. eWeLink fan (ALEXA SKILL LINK):
   Malaysia (+60)
   Phone number: 12xxxxxxx
   Password: [Password}
   Log In

4. Wait for message:
   eWeLink Smart Home Fan has been successfully linked

5. DISCOVER DEVICES > Discover:
    Switch1 eWeLink WiFi Device

6. Smart Home > Groups > Create Group:
    Enter a group name: Living room
    Check 'Switch1 eWeLink WiFi Device'
    Save

7. Voice Command: Alexa, turn off Living room

2. Enter:

3. Plug Sonoff S20 into wall socket. Power On

4. Tap '+' at the bottom of the apps

5. Add Device:
   Quick Pairing Mode (Touch)
   Next

6. Enter:
   WiFi name: [WiFi_SSID]
   WiFi password: [WiFi_Password]
   Next

7. Please grant eWeLink network or location permission... > OK > ALLOW

8. Pairing: Press and hold Sonoff for 5 second until the light blink twice
   
9. Please name this device: Switch1 > Complete

10. Added successfully... > OK

1. POWER ADAPTER
1.1 Get a UK 3 pin adapter to convert original 9W power adapter to Malaysia 3 pin wall socket

2. ACCESS TO SETUP VIA LAPTOP BROWSER
2.1 Login to alexa.amazon.com from laptop using existing amazon.com account or create a new one. 
    REMARK: Amazon Alexa Apps not available outside US

3. LISTEN TO MALAYSIA INTERNET RADIO
3.1 Skills > Find in your skills: myTuner Radio > ENABLE

3.2 Voice Command: Alexa play Hitz FM from myTuner Radio

4. MALAYSIA TIME ZONE
4.1 Settings > [Device Name] Echo Dot:
    Device location: Malaysia [Home Address]
    Device time zone: Asia
                      China Standard Time (Shanghai)

4.2 Voice Command: Alexa, what time is it?
                   Alexa, tell me weather forecast.

5. MALAYSIA TRAFFIC
5.1 Settings > Traffic:
    From: [Home Address]
    To: [Office Address]

5.2 Voice Command: Alexa, tell me traffic to work?

Amazon Echo Dot 2: First Time Setup


1. Connect 9W power adapter onto wall plug socket.

2. Login to alexa.amazon.com from laptop using existing amazon.com account or create a new one. 
   REMARK: Amazon Alexa Apps not available outside US

3. Settings > Set up a new device > Echo Dot.

4. Choose Language: English (United States) > Continue.

5. Connect to Wi-Fi.

6. Power on Echo Dot. Wait until ring light turn orange > Continue.

7. Go to your Wi-Fi settings on this computer and select the network of the format [Amazon-XXX] > Continue.

8. Select your Wi-Fi network:
   Network: [Wi-Fi SSID]
   Password: [Wi-Fi Password]
   Save password to Amazon: [Check]
   Connect

9. Select how you want to use your Echo Dot: No speakers

10. Once the ring light turn blue, try voice command 'Alexa'.

11. Settings > Music & Media > Choose default music services > Default music library: Spotify > Done.

12. Voice Command: Alexa, play [song title] by [artist]

13. Settings > [Device Name] Echo Dot:

    Device location: Malaysia [Home Address]
    Device time zone: Asia
                      China Standard Time (Shanghai)
