GALAXY Note II Hissing Sound While Charging

Problem: Loud hissing sound while charging Note II.

Cause: Galaxy Note 2 is such a powerful device, that it has a really big 60Hz transformer. The hissing noise made by the charger is NORMAL

Solution: Charge via laptop/ PC USB port, but it'll take much longer to complete.
                OR Try lower-rated charger will charge the device more slowly with less noise.
                OR Charge in seperate room if the noise keep you awake at night

GALAXY Note II: First Time Setup

1. Select language: English (United Kingdom)

2. Click Accessibility button for visually impaired or hard of hearing user to change to accessibility settings (optional)

3. Click Next.

4. Wi-Fi networks:

5. Follow prompts on the screen to connect. Click Skip to setup Wi-Fi network later.

6. Samsung account > Create new account

7. Check I accept all the terms above > Agree

8. Fill in all the requested info > Sign up

9. Welcome to Samsung account! > Next

10. Uncheck both Restore and Auto Backup > Next

11. Got Google? > Yes

12. Enter Gmail email address and password > Next

13. Uncheck Keep me up to date with news and offers from Google Play > OK

14. Signing in...

15. Entertainment > Not now

16. Uncheck both on Back up and restore > Next

17. Uncheck both on Use Google Location > Next

18. Dropbox > No thanks

19. Uncheck Enable easy mode setup > Finish

20. Swipe left or right to switch between home screens > Check Do no show again > OK

21. Attention > OK

Settings > Location Services > If OFF slide to ON

Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically = ON. Check the Time Zone

Settings > Location Services > Slide to OFF
