Securing Samsung Galaxy M31 with Make Passwords Invisible


FUNCTION: If 'Make passwords visible' option is enable, password characters will be displayed briefly when user type them, which lead to surrounding people able to eavesdropping

1. Settings > Biometrics and security

2. Other security settings > Make passwords visible: Disable

Securing Samsung Galaxy M31 with Lock Screen


Protection Level: Medium to high security

1. Settings > Lock screen

2. Screen lock type > PIN

3. PIN must contain at least 4 digits: {6-digit PIN}
    Confirm PIN without tapping OK: Tick
    Continue

4. Enter the PIN again to confirm it: {6-digit PIN}
    Continue

5. Back up your PIN? > Continue

6. Sign in to your Samsung account:
    Email: {emailid@gmail.com}
    Password: {email_password}

7. Welcome to your Samsung account:
    Terms and Conditions: Tick
    Special terms: Tick
    Samsung Privacy Policy: Tick
    Agree

8. Verify your phone number:
    Phone number: {1xxxxxxxx}
    Verification Code: {6-digit code}
    Verify

9. Signed in

Securing Samsung Galaxy M31 with Lock SIM Card

1. Settings > Biometrics and security

2. Other security settings > Set up SIM card lock > Lock SIM card: Enable

3. Lock SIM card:
    Enter your current SIM card PIN: {4-digit PIN} > OK

4. Change SIM card PIN:
    Enter your current SIM card PIN: {4-digit PIN} > OK
    Enter a new SIM card PIN: {4-digit PIN} > OK
    Enter the new SIM card PIN again to confirm it: {4-digit PIN} > OK

5. SIM PIN changed successfully.

Retrieve digi SIM PIN


1. Login to MyDigi
    Email or Mobile Number: {emailid@domain.com}
    Password: {password}
    Log In

2. Enter the TAC we've just sent to the number 601xxxxxxxx: {6-digit TAC}
    Proceed

3. Account > Plan Settings

4. SIM card information
    PIN 1: {4-digit PIN}
    PIN 2: {4-digit PIN}
    PUK 1: {8-digit PUK}
    PUK 2: {8-digit PUK}

2. Status bar:
    Show battery percentage: Enable
