HUAWEI WiFi AX3 Quad-core: Set Limit Rate (Bandwidth Control)

 

1. Follow step #12 in 'HUAWEI WiFi AX3 Quad-core: First Time Setup for TM Unifi' to Login to router dashboard

2. Under 'Manage Device' > Toggle ON for the intended device under 'Limit Rate'

3. Click on icon  under 'Speed Limit Values' next to the intended device:

   Upload: [100 - 1000000]

   Download: [100 - 1000000]

4. Click on area outside of the box to save the setting

Securing HUAWEI WiFi AX3 Quad-core

 

REMARK: You may use this as a guide to secure Huawei WiFi AX3. To enable or disable a specific feature, it's depend on your environment and requirement.

1. Follow step #12 in 'HUAWEI WiFi AX3 Quad-core: First Time Setup for TM Unifi' to Login to router dashboard

2. Under 'My Wi-Fi':

   Security: [WPA2 PSK] or [WPA2 PSK / WPA3 SAE] ---> Recommended if connected devices support WPA3

3. Under 'More Functions' > Manage Updates:

   Auto-update: Enable

   Update time: [00] [23]

   Save

4. Under 'More Functions' > Network Settings > UPnP:

    UPnP: Disable

4.1 Under 'More Functions' > Network Settings > Link+ Settings:

    Link+: Disable

4.2 Under 'More Functions' > Network Settings > IPv6:

    IPv6: Disable

5. Under 'More Functions' > Wi-Fi Settings > Guest Wi-Fi:

   Guest Wi-Fi: Disable

6. Under 'More Functions' > DDNS:

   DDNS: Disable

7. Under 'More Functions' > Security Settings > Firewall:

   Firewall: Enable

7.1 Under 'More Functions' > Security Settings > DMZ Host:

    DMZ: Disable

8. Under 'More Functions' > System Settings > NFC:

   OneHop Connect: Disable

HUAWEI WiFi AX3 Quad-core: Setup Parental Control using the HUAWEI AI Life App

1. Open the AI Life App on Samsung M31

2. Follow steps 6 - 7 on 'HUAWEI WiFi AX3 Quad-core: Install HUAWEI AI Life apps on Samsung M31' to login

3. Once successfully connected, click on 'Parental controls'

4. + Add new device > Select the intended connected devices

5. New time period:

   Connect: 0 0 > OK

   Disconnect: 23 59 > OK

   Repeat: [Weekdays| Weekends | Every day | Customised]

   Click √ on upper right corner to confirm

6. To add additional time slot > Click on intended Parental controls devices > + New

7. Repeat step #5

8. Once done, click <- on upper left corner

HUAWEI WiFi AX3 Quad-core: Install HUAWEI AI Life apps on Samsung M31

 

1. Play Store > Search 'HUAWEI AI Life' > Install > Open

2. Welcome to HUAWEI AI Life > NEXT

3. AGREE

4. 'Allow AI Life to access this device's location? > While using the app

5. HUAWEI WiFi... (Online) should appear under 'My devices'

6. Click on 'HUAWEI WiFi...'

7. Connect:

   Router password: [Admin_password set in step #7]
