HUAWEI WiFi AX3 Quad-core: Set Limit Rate (Bandwidth Control)

 


1. Follow step #12 in 'HUAWEI WiFi AX3 Quad-core: First Time Setup for TM Unifi' to Login to router dashboard


2. Under 'Manage Device' > Toggle ON for the intended device under 'Limit Rate'


3. Click on icon  under 'Speed Limit Values' next to the intended device:

   Upload: [100 - 1000000]

   Download: [100 - 1000000]


4. Click on area outside of the box to save the setting

Securing HUAWEI WiFi AX3 Quad-core

 

REMARK: You may use this as a guide to secure Huawei WiFi AX3. To enable or disable a specific feature, it's depend on your environment and requirement.


1. Follow step #12 in 'HUAWEI WiFi AX3 Quad-core: First Time Setup for TM Unifi' to Login to router dashboard


2. Under 'My Wi-Fi':

   Security: [WPA2 PSK] or [WPA2 PSK / WPA3 SAE] ---> Recommended if connected devices support WPA3


3. Under 'More Functions' > Manage Updates:

   Auto-update: Enable

   Update time: [00] [23]

   Save


4. Under 'More Functions' > Network Settings > UPnP:

    UPnP: Disable


4.1 Under 'More Functions' > Network Settings > Link+ Settings:

    Link+: Disable


4.2 Under 'More Functions' > Network Settings > IPv6:

    IPv6: Disable


5. Under 'More Functions' > Wi-Fi Settings > Guest Wi-Fi:

   Guest Wi-Fi: Disable


6. Under 'More Functions' > DDNS:

   DDNS: Disable


7. Under 'More Functions' > Security Settings > Firewall:

   Firewall: Enable


7.1 Under 'More Functions' > Security Settings > DMZ Host:

    DMZ: Disable


8. Under 'More Functions' > System Settings > NFC:

   OneHop Connect: Disable
